After supporting Stepcraft on Patreon, you will receive an email with instructions for how to download the game. The game is downloaded through Apple TestFlight for iOS and Google Play Store for Android.

We are gradually rolling out invites to those who joined the waitlist. The waitlist is no longer open for new signups, and the only way to get early access to the game is via Patreon.
No, we do not offer lifetime purchases of the game. However, during the Closed Alpha, a single payment of €3 will grant you access to the game for the duration of the Closed Alpha.
We aim to launch the full version of the game in Q4 2026.
No, progress will be reset before the full release of the game. You will be able to keep any cosmetics that you earned during the Closed Alpha, but all other data will be reset, giving everyone a fresh start.

Yes! Any smart device that can sync steps to Apple Health or Google Health Connect can be used, together with your phone steps.
Any step-generating activity counts! Treadmills, indoor walking, hiking, or just walking around your house - Stepcraft tracks all movement.
Don't worry! Stepcraft is designed for real life. You won't lose progress, and there are no harsh penalties for breaks. Your adventure will be waiting when you return.
Yes! You can connect with friends by creating or joining a guild. This allows you to see what everyone in your guild is up to, and to compare your stats with theirs. More multiplayer features are coming soon!
We've optimized Stepcraft to be battery-efficient. The app uses minimal background processing and works with your phone's built-in step tracking.
You need internet for initial setup and syncing progress, but basic gameplay works offline. Your steps are tracked locally and sync when you're back online.
No. Stepcraft only tracks your step count and general activity. We don't store or share your location data or personal information.
