Updated Patreon Benefits

We are changing the benefits for our Patreon supporters, both simplifying what each tier gives you, and adding more extensive benefits for higher tiers.

What is new?

There are three additions to the benefits our Patreon supporters get:

• Friend invites: As a Seasoned Explorer, you now can invite one friend to Stepcraft for free. For Master Wanderers, this is upped to 3 friends. Your friends will get their own key, and keep access for the duration of the alpha.
• Merch discount: You now get a one-time discount code for the new Stepcraft merch shop. 15 euros for Seasoned Explorers, and 25 euros for Master Wanderers.
• Personalized thank you card: Our Master Wanderers will get a personalized thank you card from the Stepcraft team, as a physical token of appreciation from us to you.

Along with this, we are clearing up expectations around sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content. When we have something exciting to share, we of course want to share it with all of you, so we've removed distinctions here between the tiers.

We are giving existing Patreon supporters the new benefits retroactively. So if you are a Seasoned Explorer or Master Wanderer, you will be able to invite friends and get a discount code for the Stepcraft merch shop, as well as get a personalized thank you card for Master Wanderers. For the first two, simply log in with your Patreon account on the Stepcraft website and you should see the new benefits. For the personalized thank you card, reach out to us through Patreon DMs.

Cosmetic rewards

The first cosmetic rewards are in the game now. Depending on your tier, you'll have been given one of three different avatar borders. We have been busy reworking the character creator to allow for more customization, and as part of that we'll be adding more tier-specific cosmetic rewards to the game. We're super excited to give you a first look at what characters from the new character creator look like, together with the new cosmetic rewards.

For Novice Adventurers, you'll be able to show this border around your character in the game:

For Seasoned Explorers, you'll receive the following border, as well as this clothing item:

For Master Wanderers, you'll receive the following border, as well as these two clothing items:

For any tier, you'll also be awarded all cosmetics for the lower tiers. So a Master Wanderer will get all cosmetics from the Novice Adventurer and Seasoned Explorer tier, as well as their own cosmetics.

Stepcraft Merch Shop
